Files

One word before .tres says what a file is. Exports are plain PNG, WAV and Aseprite and carry no mark.

What it isEnds in
A sprite, with its layers, frames and tags.pixel.tres
A sound.sfx.tres
A song.music.tres
A colour palette.palette.tres
An instrument palette.instruments.tres
The SpriteFrames written beside an exported sheet.frames.tres

Limits

The ceilings the Pixel tab refuses past. The cel budget is what actually limits a document; the layer and frame caps only stop absurd shapes.
